All of the Mikes
Mike is here for good. That means focusing on people, community and practical progress.
He’s more interested in bringing people together, listening to different views and finding ways to move things forward than getting caught up in noise or division. For Mike the best work happens when people collaborate, stay grounded and focus on what’s actually achievable.

Professional Mike
Mike works at the intersection of strategy, organisational performance and engagement, helping organisations connect priorities to practical delivery. Over the past 20 years he has worked across government, sport and for-purpose organisations, including HMRI, the University of Newcastle, UNSW, Woollahra Council, and both the NSW and UK Governments.
His approach is straightforward: get clear on what matters, bring people together around shared priorities and make sure the work delivers real outcomes for the community.

Volunteering Mike
Mike loves to put his hand up and volunteer for good. In the last little while, he’s been door-knocking and poll-boothing for the Voice to Parliament Yes campaign (the loss still stings), guest lecturering at the Uni of Newcastle, flipping snags at kids’ soccer and nippers, mentoring new Australians from the Middle East, whipping up marketing campaigns to help disadvantaged LGBTI+ kids with scholarships, and raising funds to support a sustainable community centre in Siem Reap, Cambodia.

Have a Go Mike
Mike, like many other middle-aged marketers, has taken up running and regularly tackles half-marathons and fun runs. Often, he turns those sweaty miles into fundraising efforts for causes he believes in.
Mike recently took on the Newcastle Hill to Harbour, raising over $2,000 for medical research in the process. He knows you can’t always win, but you can always have a go, and maybe do some good while you’re at it.
When he isn't hiding behind spandex running undies you can find Mike enjoying some quite time in the garden.

Parent Mode Mike
The rules on how to dad have changed, and Mike’s all in. His eight-year-old son Morris is his absolute favorite human and can usually be found chasing, reading, or laughing (mostly fart jokes) with him.
Mike and his partner's mission? To build an authentic, lasting relationship by creating an environment of safety, love, and support...Oh and cheering loudly for Morris’ dream of becoming a professional wrestler.
